Playing House

"I worship the ground you walk on."

Has anyone ever said this phrase to you? I know it's never been said to me. And you know what? I'm not quite sure why. Worship: to have intense love or admiration for. I always thought I had been loved and/or admired but now I'm beginning to think not...

Or maybe it's just some phrase you only hear in the movies.

Leese,

I did you know who this is!! i understand that i could not give you the romance and the love that you needed. I am sorry that we turned out the way we did. I still don't like the fact that R. is more romantic and probably shows you more that i ever could how much you mean to him!! I know my short coming and hopefully one day i will be able to show my feelings and love for another person. As much as i would love to be the perfect match for you i am nor sure that i ever will be!!

Love always,

Don

Yes that phrase has been said to me. But what I learned is that unless it's backed up by the appropriate and relevant actions then it's not worth shit.

So don't think you haven't been loved cos no one threw a cliché at you. If you were treated with love then you were loved.
